––– The Southeast Asian Conference on Education –––

The inaugural Southeast Asian Conference on Education (SEACE2020) will be The International Academic Forum's (IAFOR) first event in Southeast Asia. SEACE2020 will be held in Singapore, a great crossroads of peoples, cultures and ideas, and home to some of the world's finest universities, and will provide an exciting opportunity for international, intercultural, and interdisciplinary discussions on education practices, policies, theories, and innovations.

Instead of offering a strict conference theme at SEACE2020, IAFOR has decided to invite submissions on any topic related to the field of education. By opening the conference theme to the broad field of education, it is expected that we can come together as educators and policymakers without any limitations. There will be a number of special streams and topics, which may include Teaching and Learning, Educational Structures, Community and Society, Language and Culture, Psychology, Technology, and others. However, there will not be an overall theme that might restrict what aspects of education people want to explore and discuss.

SEACE2020 is held in partnership with the IAFOR Research Centre at the Osaka School of International Public Policy (OSIPP) at Osaka University, and the ASEAN Career Fair. SEACE2020 encourages academics and scholars to meet and exchange ideas and views in a forum stimulating respectful dialogue. Like our long-running events elsewhere in the world, this event will afford an exceptional opportunity for renewing old acquaintances, making new contacts, networking, and facilitating partnerships across national and disciplinary borders.

We look forward to welcoming to Singapore scholars from across Southeast Asia and around the world for what is sure to be an exciting conference.
