International Conference on Education and Workforce Development 2017

Dear Colleague: It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the International Conference on Education and Workforce Development 2017, being held 17 - 19 January 2017 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The theme of ICEWD'17 is "The 21st Century Workplace: Drivers and Challenges in a Global Market." We will share research and best practices, discuss how students can develop skills and a mindset for success in the workplace and beyond; along with how we as practitioners guide students through this process. The conference program is comprised of keynote speeches, interactive workshops, panel discussions, oral and poster presentations, and opportunities for networking with a broad group of global professionals. WHO SHOULD ATTEND? -Academic researchers -Higher education faculty/instructors -Higher education students -Higher educations administrators -Student Affairs practitioners -K-12 Administrators -K-12 Teachers -Policymakers -Employers WAYS OF PARTICIPATING Oral Presenter: 20 minutes allotted for each presentation Poster Presenter: 60 minutes allotted for poster session Absentee Presenter: For those unable to join us in person at ICEWD'17, we offer the opportunity to participate as an Absentee Presenter. Absentee Presenters can: (1) upload a narrated presentation to our website and social media sites; (2) publish his/her abstract in the Conference Program Book; and (3) publish his/her paper in the Conference Proceedings. Non-Presenter (Listener): For those interested in attending to participate in the various presentation sessions. PRESENTATION PROPOSAL SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 23 DECEMBER 2016 PAPER PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES All papers that meet the 21st Century Academic Forum's Conference Proceedings guidelines will be published in our online Conference Proceedings (ISSN: 2330-1236). Papers must be submitted for inclusion in the Conference Proceedings by 20 April 2017. We purposely set the deadline for papers three months following the conference with the rationale that authors should use the feedback they receive at the conference in crafting their final drafts of their paper. Authors are also highly encouraged to take advantage of the free workshops The Conference Proceedings will be published on 20 July 2017 The editors of our peer-reviewed Journal of 21st Century Education (ISSN: 2330-1244) select the best papers from the Conference Proceedings to appear in special thematic issues of the journal.
