Call for Papers
Join an international conversation on teaching and learning shaped by Routledge publications emerging from the 'Focus on Pedagogy' conference series. Previous books include 'Cultural Awareness in Teaching Art and Design' and 'Personal Pedagogy: Encouraging the Individual in the Classroom'.
This call welcomes theoretical papers, practical teaching projects and critical reflections on inclusive, culturally aware and socially responsible education.
Contributions may address learner identity, curriculum design, assessment, student-centred teaching, cultural difference, community engagement, sustainability, collaboration and educators' responsibilities across disciplines.
We are particularly interested in work connecting classroom practice with wider cultural, social and environmental concerns while maintaining disciplinary depth and collective learning.
Part of the conference and publication series, A Focus on Pedagogy 2026 with Routledge.
We invite you to submit an abstract.
