Two - day international seminar on "NATURAL RESOURCE AND NATIONAL ACCOUNTS IN SOUTH ASIA"  

Greetings from Institute for Social and Economic Change, Bangalore, India! 

The Centre for Ecological Economics and Natural Resources at the Institute for Social and Economic Change Bangalore, invites researchers and policy makers to submit papers to international seminar on "Natural Resource and National Accounts in South Asia". The two day international seminar aims to bring together scholars, government officials and key decision-makers from developing countries in South Asia and other parts of the world, as well as prominent experts in the related field who have been involved in some of the key ongoing initiatives such as the World Bank TEEB, SANDEE, UNEP, and SEEA.       

Authors are invited to submit papers for the following sub-themes. Papers concerning topics in ecological and environmental economics, natural resource economics and environmental science are expected to be presented. The sub-themes include but are not limited to the following

• Accounting for forest, Subsoil and Mineral resources, Water, Biodiversity and Ecosystem services

Conference Dates: February 5-6, 2015 

Abstract due by: 10th January, 2015

Notification of acceptance of Abstract: 14th January, 2015

Date of Registration: 20th January, 2015 Submissions 

Please submit your abstract by e-mail in MS word format to balasubramanian@isec.ac.in or balasmku@gmail.com. All abstract must be submitted not later than 10th January 2015 and should contain no more than 300 words, title of the paper, names, institutional affiliation, postal and e-mail addresses of all authors and two or three keywords including the topic.
