We are pleased to inform you that the Gujarat National Law University Centre for Law and Economics is organizing the  9th International Conference on Law and Economics - Empirical and Applied law & Economics of Governance and Inclusive Public Policy   from 16th to 18th January,  2026

 

Theme: 

The 9th International Conference on Law and Economics explores the theme "Empirical and Applied Law & Economics of Governance and Inclusive Public Policy." This theme emphasizes the use of data-driven and evidence-based approaches to understand how legal and economic systems influence governance, equity, and policy outcomes. It seeks to bridge theory and practice by promoting inclusive, transparent, and effective policymaking. The focus is on advancing discussions that make governance not only efficient and empirically grounded but also just, inclusive, and responsive to the diverse needs of society.  

We invite the submission of manuscripts focusing on the economic analysis of law containing themes of  Governance and Inclusive Public Policy  in any substantive area of law. In case the authors require some guidance for writing and research in the field of law and economics, the GNLU Journal of Law and Economics (Peer-reviewed and Scopus-listed journal) can be accessed: https://gjle.in/.
