We feel immense pleasure in inviting you to A Five Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on "Use of Tools and Techniques in Research" during 28th  November to 2nd December, 2016 at Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC), Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, Jammu and Kashmir. The primary target group for training programme is young researchers (who may or may not be pursuing doctoral research), and teachers in Colleges, University Departments and Academic Institutions who are engaged in research, or are planning to undertake research.

 

A Five Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on "Use of Tools and Techniques in Research" is designed to impart knowledge on tools and techniques used in empirical research, report writing, choosing an ideal research topic, abstract, thesis and research papers writing skills, selecting right journals for the produced research papers, detecting plagiarism and handling editorial decisions along with revising the manuscript in line with the suggested comments of peer referees.

 

The workshop will follow Combination of Lecture, Hands on Training Sessions with Econometric and Statistical softwares like E-Views and SPSS supported by library research.
