International Conference on Economic and Social Sustainability 2016 (ICESS 2016) 31st October 2016 National Convention Center (Queen Sirikit National Convention Center: QSNCC) Bangkok, Thailand Call for abstract by August 31, 2016. Our previous meeting was successfully held though a fruitful discussion with about 80 honorable scholars from all over the world. This year, the ICESS has launched an initiative to organize an International Conference to be in line with the SDG goals. Five scholarships will be awarded to talented doctoral students/candidates in every conference to encourage junior scholars for knowledge sharing with international intellectuals. The selected candidates will be exempted from the registration fee. CONFERENCE FOCUS Our international conference addresses the fundamental and related questions of sustainability in a multidisciplinary approach across the economic and social perspectives. Our conference is for students, researchers, teachers, and practitioners from any professional discipline who share an interest in sustainability. We are calling for conference presentations. Focusing on extending knowledge sharing for all, virtual participation is also available for those who are unable to attend the conference in person. All conference registrants (in-person and virtual) may also submit their written papers for publication in the International Journal of Economic and Social Sustainability. CONFERENCE THEMES This year, the ICESS has launched an initiative to organize an International Conference in Thailand. The key themes of the 2016 ICESS will be in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), "Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development". The ICESS committee also share the same commitments to create conditions for sustainable, inclusive and sustained economic growth, shared prosperity and decent work for all, taking into account different levels of national development and capacities. In this regard, the key objective of the conference is to address the fundamental and related questions of sustainability in a multidisciplinary approach across the economic and social perspectives. Our academic conference is for lecturers, researchers, and graduate students as well as any professional who share an interest in development, economics and social sustainability. In the 2016 ICESS, we will not only contribute to the world in the academic area, but also seek the way to drive our commitment forwards to our network.
