VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Health Policy Initiative (HPI) at Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER), New Delhi has two research programs at the moment:

 

Drug Regulatory Reforms in India

Tackling Chronic Diseases in India

Under the former, we are presently working on: a) Clinical trials and new drug approvals, b) Harmonization of certification standards. Under the latter, we are presently working on: a) Towards a chronic disease prevention-oriented primary health system, b) Strategies for surveillance of chronic diseases.*

HPI is inviting applications for the following positions under both research programs:

 

Research Assistants / Associates  

Minimum eligibility: Postgraduate degree in economics / health-related field, with written work on the broad / specific themes mentioned above.

 

Fellows / Consultants

Minimum eligibility: PhD in economics / health-related field, with a well-published record on the broad / specific themes mentioned above.

High-quality writing capability (English) would be indispensable. Applicants should be able to conduct conceptually rigorous literature review to identify problem areas and potential solutions. Candidates with prior experience in conducting and analyzing expert interviews would be preferred.
