The three-module course will focus on the links between trade, investment, finance and development, and will be delivered in English with with some documentation in Spanish. Candidates are expected to have a full working knowledge of English.

The Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP) will hold its 12th annual conference, "Inclusive Growth and Employment for Poverty Reduction," in Nairobi April 29 - March 8. The conference will include a high-level policy forum on the theme "Unlocking Africa's growth for productive employment and poverty reduction."

The conference seeks to review research evidence on specific policy issues related to growth, employment and poverty in developing countries; provide training and build capacity of developing country researchers for policy analysis and engagement; engage in a policy dialogue to catalyze effective research-policy action agendas; and enhance opportunities for global collaboration and networking, among researchers and practitioners to generate evidence and support policy implementation.

A series of pre-conference intensive technical training workshops (micro-econometric techniques, macro-micro policy simulations, among others) will be provided to developing country participants.

For information, contact Aissatou M. Diop, Rose Shaviya or Anne Bernadette Mandap.
