CCD wishes to invite you to present your paper in the seminar. The concept note of the seminar has been attached herewith for your ready reference. We hope that we will have your presence with your paper to enlighten the scholars who will attend the seminar. The seminar is partly funded by ICSSR - New Delhi.

Centre for Culture and Development (CCD) is a social research institution established in 2001 with the aim of harnessing the knowledge of social sciences to the service of society. It endeavors to conduct socially relevant, reliable research on a wide range of subjects towards building humane and just society. The topics identified for the Seminar to be held on 10-11 April, 2015 are just for  reference for the contributors. Venue
The seminar will be held during 10-11 April, 2015 at Centre for Culture and Development, Vadodara, Gujarat. Vadodara is one of the well-developed and cultural capital cities of Gujarat.  It is well connected by rail and air network to the rest of India. The CCD campus is about 10 kms from Vadodara railway station. From any point in the Vadodara city, come to Gotri and take the road to Sevasi – Sindhrot. The CCD campus is about one and half kilo meter from Sevasi village on the main road next to Baroda Homeopathic College and Xavier Technical Institute. 

Submission of Papers
Researchers and other professionals are invited to contribute papers on the seminar themes. Those who desire to contribute papers may send a hard copy to the Director, Centre for Culture and Development, XTI Campus, Sevasi Post, Vadodara – 391 101 and must send a soft copy to the following email address: centreforculture@gmail.com. All contributors should submit their papers in soft copy, with short CV and passport sized photograph. The paper must not exceed 5,000 words limit (including tables and appendices) and should be accompanied by a summary in 400 to 500 words. Summaries of all the papers accepted will be published and distributed among the participants. Selected papers will be published as a volume.

Travel Support and Accommodations
Travel fare by II AC (Railway) will be reimbursed.  Accommodation and local hospitality will be provided to the delegates at the institute guest house and nearby hotel/s.

  4. Yeah I wonder why there aren’t many seminars on these lines. Though I was wondering what would have been outcome of it but I am sure meeting rooms would be full of intellectual people discussing how things can be made better for society at large.

  6. Keeping healthy lifetime relations is a big issue these days. Couples just move on to the divorce. They try to find out how can I get divorce? If both are getting divorce by mutual consent then it is fine but forcing each other is not to be done. Seeing this scenario of the society such seminars helps a lot for understanding the facts.
