About SHRC:

State Health Resource Centre - Madhya Pradesh located at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis. SHRC primally objective is to support the state in strengthening the health system of Madhya Pradesh with special focus areasincludingassisting policy planning and strategy development, technical assistance to the state and suggesting areas of improvement in service delivery leading to better health outcomes. The Centre regularly conductsgap analysis and evaluation studies.

 

Project Background:

Registration of birth is a right of every child and is the first step towards establishing her/his legal identity. It is compulsory to report births and deaths to the Registrar of Births and Deaths under the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969 (Act No. 18 of 1969). Births and deaths are registered only at the place of their occurrence.

 

In today's technology-dependent world, the completeness and correctness of data are taken at their face value. However, the act of data matching and validation is given inadequate attention. Generation of similar estimates from two or more sources may lead to redundancy of work and inefficient utilization of resources. Therefore, it is imperative to look for the scope of integration between two data sets at the sub-district and district levels before moving to the state level. In this context, the Civil Registration System and the ANMOL RCH database present a lucrative and unique opportunity for practicing data amalgamation.The specific objectives are of the project:

        i.            To undertake a systematic evidence-based review and synthesis of civil registration and vital statistics data (live birth, stillbirth, death and marriage registration) and RCH ANMOL database (birth, stillbirth and infant death and marriage) in Raisen district.

      ii.            To identify the challenges in the present system and suggest corrective measures to streamline the reporting of vital statistics.

    iii.            To undertake the operational feasibility of integration of civil registration system and health system data from the standpoints of accuracy, timeliness, and usefulness.

     iv.            To suggest a policy recommendation for the integration of Civil Registration and RCH data in Madhya Pradesh

 

Responsibilities:

        i.            Mapping of stakeholders and preparation of analysis matrix

      ii.            Support in organizing the stakeholder consultation and documentation

    iii.            Development of data validation tools including a checklist and semi-structured questionnaire for dataset validation exercise.

     iv.            Systematic review and analysis of civil registration data set and RCH ANMOL as per Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and meta-analysis protocols (PRISMA-P)

       v.            Field visits to undertake In-depth discussions with the parents and service providers in rural and urban areas in Raisen districts.

     vi.            Contribution to report writing

   vii.            The report would mainly highlight the scope of dataset integration including field operation and data structure and cost-benefits analysis of the integration of two datasets.


Qualifications/experience/competencies:

        i.            Master's degree in management, economics, computer science, statistics, operations research, public health, or allied areas.

      ii.            At least 2 years of experience in data analysis and documentation.

    iii.            Experience in using quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques.

     iv.            Organized, team player, and results-oriented individual.

       v.            Willingness to travel to rural areas if required.

     vi.            Fluency in English and Hindi is an advantage.

 

Remuneration: Monthly remuneration of Rs 50,000. Outstation travel expenses as per Institute norms.

To submit your full paper or abstract, please email it as an attachment (acceptable formats are .doc and .docx) to GLOBAL@IAABR.COM (please put "MIAMI CONFERENCE" in the subject line of your message). All submissions will be double blind peer-refereed by members of the Conference Review Committee. Authors will be notified of the review outcome within 3-4 weeks after the arrival of their submissions.

Authors who CANNOT travel to Miami for visa or other reasons, may PARTICIPATE VIRTUALLY in the IAABR Conference, and these authors will have the same publication opportunities as the regular conference presenters.

The regular registration fee is $350 (the reduced registration fee for virtual participants via Skype is $300, and the special student fee is $285). Greetings from Gujarat National Law University!

 

We are pleased to inform you that the Second International Conference on "Building Social Entrepreneurial Ecosystem for a More Sustainable and Resilient Society" is scheduled to be held on July 29 & 30, 2022. The conference is jointly organised by the GNLU Centre for Law and Society and the GUJCOST-GNLU Centre of Excellence in Intellectual Property Rights.  

 

 

The conference is sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi, and the GNLU Legal Incubation Council. We also have reputed Social Work and Social Entrepreneurship institutions as knowledge partners, namely, TISS, Mumbai, EDII, Ahmedabad, MS University Baroda, and Madras School of Social Work, Chennai.

 

The Two-days International Conference is expected to witness many participantsincluding students, renowned keynote speakers, practitioners, and academicians from different parts of the country.

 

Conference Note:

The Prime Minister of India has declared the 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' a nationwide celebration to honour India's 75th anniversary of Independence. The program is a 75-week countdown to India's 75th Independence Day, from March 12, 2021.
