Thiruvananthapuram is organizing a seminar on *"Fourteenth Finance Commission: Future of Centre - State Relations in Public Finance". *The programme will be held at 4.00 pm on *Monday, the 25th May 2015* at Hotel Mascot, Thiruvananthapuram.
Noted economists *Dr. K.K George* (Chairman, Centre for Socio-Economic and Environmental Studies, Kochi) and *Dr. M. A Oommen* (Hon. Professor, Centre for Development Studies, Trivandrum) will present papers during the programme. *Dr. J. Prabhash*, former Pro-Vice Chancellor, University of Kerala will be the Moderator of the programme.
The topics of presentation are: (i) 'Fourteenth Finance Commission - An Overall Analysis' by Dr. K. K. George and (ii) 'Fourteenth Finance Commission and Local Self Governments' by Dr. M. A. Oommen. This will be followed by a discussion.
