The Best Papers will be awarded during the conference. The Best Paper Award will be announced at the closing session of the conferences. The award will be decided by the participants' votes only. All papers presented at the conferences will be nominated automatically and voting will take place just before the closing session.

PUBLICATION
The full papers are going to be published in the proceedings book with an ISBN number before the conference and to be available online in DAKAM's digital library. FORM DISCUSSIONS

LIT CRI '15 aims to provide a platform for dicussions and research, which consider various aspects of literature as a memorial medium to contribute to the larger discussion of the ways in which societies recollect their past and as a field of observation of personal memory to explore and experience the complexities of the mind and emotions. The conference is open to several points of view in terms of literature and memory:

1) Conceiving literature as a medium of remembrance
2) Observing the production of cultural and personal memory in literature
3) Looking to literature as a tool to explore the concepts of remembrance and amnesia
4) Dealing with comparative exploration of the impact that memory practices had on the forging of new identities and literature
5) The relation between personal and public memory practices in societies

Focusing to literature and memory at the same time will reveal and sum up several recent studies in last couple of decades and it will metaphorically suit to the myth of Mnemosyne who was not only the goddess of memory but also the mother of the muses, the goddesses of the various arts.

***APSec2015 Conference Theme: Power

From classical thinkers' works such as Aristotle's Politka or Machiavelli's Il Principe through to the seismic geo-political events over the last century, power as both a conception and commodity, has continually challenged the minds of security and international relations theorists. The dynamics of power and its associations with ideology, wealth and status now shape the contemporary world more visibly than ever as we enter into a time of global uncertainty. The uncertainties with respect to this power dynamic are a profound research challenge to all fields of the security and international relations discipline. As the conference theme of our inaugural Asia Pacific Conference on Security and International Relations, we together seek to offer some explanation of its magnetism and its mechanisms.

Our own Asia-Pacific region is fast becoming the core center of influence and the driving force and engine room of global progress. This requires an openness to engage in the strategic conversation of how the dynamics of power can be successfully managed, how Asia-Pacific nations can cooperate in areas of common interest, and how the differences that inevitably arise in the power relationship between major states can be resolved respectfully and equitably. We expect the theme of power to excite a number of stimulating research paths, and look forward to their outcomes as we gather in Kobe in October 2015.

We look forward to seeing you at APSec2015!

Dr Joel Campbell
Associate Professor of Political Science in the Pacific Region, Troy University, Japan
APSec2015 Conference Co-Chair

BANGKOK is the capital and the most populous city of Thailand. It traces its roots to a small trading post during the Ayutthaya Kingdom in the 15th century, which eventually grew in size and became the site of two capital cities: Thonburi in 1768 and Rattanakosin in 1782. Bangkok was at the heart of Siam's (as Thailand used to be known) modernization during the later 19th century, as the country faced pressures from the West. The city grew rapidly during the 1960s through the 1980s and now exerts a significant impact among Thailand's politics, economy, education, media and modern society. Over 14 million people live within the Bangkok Metropolitan Region. The Asian investment boom in the 1980s and 1990s led many multinational corporations to locate their regional headquarters in Bangkok. The city is now a major regional force in finance and business. It is an international hub for transport and health care, and is emerging as a regional center for the arts, fashion and entertainment. The city is known for its vibrant street life and cultural landmarks. The historic Grand Palace and Buddhist temples including Wat Arun and Wat Pho stand in contrast with other tourist attractions such as the nightlife scenes of Khaosan Road and Patpong. Bangkok is among the world's top tourist destinations. It is named the most visited city in MasterCard's Global Destination Cities Index, and was named "World's Best City" for four consecutive years by Travel + Leisure magazine.

International Conference on 21st Century Education 2015

Dear Colleague:

We have many critical issues facing education in the 21st century. However, developing a plan to take schools in the right direction is easier said than done. Come join an international conversation on the latest research and developments on how to best prepare citizens for work and life in the 21st century. The 21st Century Academic Forum, in collaboration with the Higher Colleges of Technology, invites you to the 2015 International Conference on 21st Century Education. We encourage researchers, educators, policymakers, and other stakeholders to contribute to this important discussion on 21st century education in Dubai 13-15 November 2015.

Organizers: 21st Century Academic Forum and the Higher Colleges of Technology

Value Added Opportunities:

The 21st Century Academic Forum has a new initiative called the Research Support Program (RSP) that allows researchers to attend free workshops on general research skills, as well as on presentation and academic writing skills. Our team of volunteers will lead workshops and work with individuals on a one-on-one basis to assist in developing his/her academic research skills. We hope that relationships will be forged at the conference that will continue on well after the conclusion of the Dubai conference.

IC21CE 2015 participants will also be able to attend the International Conference on Language Learning and Teaching (ICLLT 2015), which is held in parallel with IC21CE 2015. The aim of the ICLLT conference is to explore the latest developments in language learning instruction and assessment. Presentation Topic Tracks:

Please visit the Call for Proposals page of our website for an extensive list of presentation topic tracks: http://www.21caf.org/ic21ce-2015-cfp.html

Abstract Submission:

The Conference Committee reviews abstract proposals on a rolling basis and authors will typically receive a decision within two weeks of his/her submission.

Paper Publication Opportunities:

All papers that meet the requirements set by the editorial board of the 21st Century Academic Forum's Conference Proceedings will be published in our online Conference Proceedings (ISSN: 2330-1236). Papers must be submitted for inclusion in the Conference Proceedings by February 15, 2016. We purposely set the deadline for papers three months following the conference with the rationale that authors should use the feedback they receive at the conference in crafting the final draft of their paper.

The Conference Proceedings will be published on May 16, 2016. The Conference Proceedings editorial board in turn works with the editors of our peer-reviewed International Journal of 21st Century Education (ISSN 2330-1244) to select papers for possible publication. An editor of The International Journal of 21st Century Education will contact selected authors and begin the editing process to publish issues of the journal based on a thematic basis.

We look forward to a diverse group of people from around the world to gather in Dubai to discuss the many critical issues facing education in the 21st century. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or requests.

Best regards,
