Position: Project Manager for Hyderabad and other cities in Andhra Pradesh

 

Location: Multiple

 

Term: Full-time

 

Education: Preferred (M.Sc. or B.Sc. - Environmental Science or Social Work) 

Work Experience: 0-1 years

 

Desired Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will be a well-motivated person demonstrating initiative in providing services to a variety of clients covering a range of services related to integrated solid waste management. An understanding of solid waste management (SWM) activities and systems with knowledge in government regulations and guidelines will be desirable.

Job Description:

Manage solid-waste management projects including collection, segregation, recycling, disposal, and composting.

Administer solid waste management projects and ensure compliance of local government/municipality guidelines on SWM.

Train and supervise waste collectors in collection, segregation, recycling and composting of solid waste.

 Implement school, community, etc. awareness-building activities regarding source segregation and composting.

Eco-Clubs in Schools – Engage with students in various aspects of solid-waste management.

Reaching out to new communities for starting waste segregation, composting in a de-centralized manner. (Bulk generators, apartments etc.)

Liaise with the client for implementing efficient waste management services.

Ensure that all technological tools and equipment are maintained properly and kept functional.
