Health Economics and Policy Webinar @ YSI South Asia

I am writing to you about the ongoing webinar series titled "Health Economics and Policy in South Asia" organised by the Young Scholars Initiative's South Asia Working Group. The webinar series takes forward discussion on several aspects of health in South Asia by bringing together experts from diverse disciplines globally. You can find a complete description of the series here.

As a part of the webinar series, we have two upcoming events:

1) On March 28th, 6.30 PM IST, Dr.Sulakshana Nandi will talk on Implications of publicly funded health insurance for UHC in LMICs. Read more here.

2) On April 4th, 7.30 PM IST, Prof.Vikram Patel will talk on how empowering members of the community to deliver evidence based psychosocial interventions could transform our mental health care system. Read more here. 

 

Format:

The presentation(s) will be typically 45 minutes long, followed by 20-40 minutes of discussion and Q&As.

Workshop @ Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya

1. About the organiser/college/university : Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya has been established with a vision to be a leader in shaping a better future for mankind through quality education, training and research. Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya at Indore is a multi-disciplinary university focusing on the needs of various segments of the society.

2. Details about the event/opportunity: Shri Vaishnav School of Management, Shri Vaishnav Vidhyapeeth Vishwavidalaya, Indore is organizing One-Week Online National Case Writing and Teaching with Cases Workshop in collaboration with the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS), Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD) and National HRD Network (NHRDN), scheduled to be held on May 23-27 2022 at Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya, Indore.

The Workshop will be led by Dr. Upinder Dhar, who has conducted more than 710 management and faculty development programs and more than 70 such Workshops as Facilitator so far. The Faculty of B-schools and Management Institutes located in various parts of the country will be participating in the workshop.

The Workshop aims at development of cases based on Indian Business Environment and propagates the use of case studies as an integral part of pedagogy in imparting management education. Most of the cases developed during the workshops held earlier have been registered with The Case Centre (ECCH- European Case Clearing House), Cranfield University, UK.
