RUSA Doctoral Fellowship @ Rs.50,000 to Rs.75,000 per month
Established in 1943, Utkal University, a NAAC A+ and Category I University with graded autonomy, is a premier Higher Education Institution in India. The main campus at Vani Vihar is located in the capital city of Bhubaneswar spread over nearly 400 acres adjacent to National Highway 16. The new rural campus spreads over nearly 67 acres of land in the mountainous ranges of Chandikholein Jajpur district.
The University provides ample opportunities for research, innovation, and modern knowledge delivery system. The University is in receipt of Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) for enriching quality and excellence in higher education.
With 29 Post-Graduate Departments and recently opened several Centres of Excellence (CoEs) with assistance from RUSA and World Bank, the University is engaged with cutting-edge research, innovative teaching pedagogy and knowledge production.
The University announces RUSA Doctoral Fellowship @ Rs.50,000 to Rs.75,000 per month depending on academic qualifications, research competencies and publications in high impact factor journals for maximum period of four years. Interested candidates may apply for the fellowship through the Common Research Entrance Test (CRET) for M.Phil/PhD admission of Utkal University.
The entrance examinations will be conducted on 14 September 2019 at Bhubaneswar, New Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad and Pune. Aspirants of RUSA Fellowship must have to appear the CRET and viva-voce test irrespective of qualifying NET/JRF. The details of it is available at www.utkaluniversity.nic.in.
