Vi new call for papers as on 17th February 2016

Dear Vi friends,

Thank you so much for bearing with us while we resolved our website issues. I am happy to report that thanks to the excellent work of my colleagues, Javier, Stefan and Dayyan, the site is fully functional now.

Trade and Gender online course participants may continue their studies.

We have also extended the deadline for completing our feedback questionnaire. I would like to encourage those of you who have not done so, to give us your thoughts. As a reminder, just log in to the website, and the "Give us your feedback" menu will appear. It is very brief, and it should take just a few minutes of your time.

Vi Nigerian affiliate member, Covenant University, has issued a call for papers in preparation for its third International Conference on African Development Issues, to be held May 9-11.

Organizers welcome research articles, review papers, concept papers, vision/idea papers, work in progress with partial research results, poster presentations and PhD pecha kucha addressing the conference's theme, "Driving Inclusive and Sustainable Development in Africa: Models, Methods and Policies." Papers from industry presenting experience reports, company testimonials and reports of best practices implementation that have yielded positive results, are also invited for presentation under a special Industry Track.

Abstracts in English, of no more than 500 words, must be submitted online by February 29.

For more information, contact Vi member coordinator, Evans Osabuohien.

I hope you find this information useful, and that you will distribute widely among your colleagues and other professional networks.

Best regards,

Susana Olivares
