GRABS AWARDS 2015
GRABS Educational Charitable Trust invites applications for GRABS Awards 2015 in various categories from academicians/researchers from all over the world. The purpose of this award is to recognize the meritorious services of outstanding Teachers/Professors/Researchers working in Schools, Colleges, Universities and Research Institutions. The last date for receipt of completed applications is September 30, 2015. The award function will be held in the second week of November 2015 in Chennai. Award recipients who are unable to attend the function will receive their awards after the function. The award shall consist of a trophy carrying the winner's name, a certificate in the winner's name indicating the award category.
Ø School Teachers, College Professors, Researchers, Registered Ph.D. scholars, School/College Principals;
Ø Scouts & guides, NSS, NCC, YRC coordinators;
Ø Physical education trainers;
Ø Yoga and Karate Instructors, Dance teachers, Art & craft teachers, etc.;
Ø Sportspersons, medal winners in district/state/national/international sporting events;
Ø School/College counselors and guidance professionals, psychologists;
Ø Dancers, musicians; and
Ø Social workers.
The recipients of the awards will be selected by the Award Committee. The GRABS Award recipient is required to be a member of GRABS for the duration of the GRABS Award Program. However, prior membership is not a requirement for award applicants.
Best Teacher Award: Teachers/ Professors working at schools/Colleges/Universities are welcome to apply for the Best Teacher Award. They must have at least four (4) years teaching experience.
Best Researcher Award: Applicants for this award must have registered for his/her Ph.D in any branches of Sciences and Social Sciences (enclose a copy of the registration). They should have published at least five research papers in refereed National/International journals.
Best Research Supervisor Award: Applicants for this award must have a minimum fifteen years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic / research position equivalent to Assistant Professor at the University, College or Accredited Research Institution with evidence of published work and a minimum 8 publications as books and / or research /policy papers. Having experience in conducting training programmes, supervised more than 8 students for Ph.D.

The application form duly filled in all respects with copies of necessary documents must reach The Secretary, GRABS Educational Charitable Trust, 21/12, 8th Street, Bakthavachalam Nagar, Nanganallur, Chennai- 600114, Tamil Nadu, India on or before 30-09-2015.
