Jobs @ Institute for Social and Economic Change

Notification

Request for Field Investigators

Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC), is working on fare fixation of Bangalore metro rail which is sponsored by BMRCL. As a part of this project we are planning to conduct a field survey on "Livelihood status of the rehabilitated people in Bangalore". During construction of metro corridor, BMRCL has given special package to few slum households to rehabilitate them from Mantri square to Pennya Indutrial area. However, we are now interested to evaluate the changes on livelihood and status of living of those households in reality. This study will help BMRCL as well as other policy makers to think about the rehabilitation packages for the vulnerable households.

In this regards, I am looking for two field investigators to assist my team for this survey. This survey will continue maximum of 7 days and a token of honorarium will be given to those students as per the ISEC rule. Moreover, one participation certificate will be issued by the project leader.

Knowledge of Kannada language is must.

Please contact the Email-ID: smitha@isec.ac.in as early as possible.
