Essay Writing Competition for College and University Students on"Education   and   Nation   Building"

Saraswat Khattri Pathshala Society & S. S. Khanna Girls Degree College, Allahabad (Founded by Prof. D. D. Khanna in 1975) announces an All India Essay Writing Competition in Hindi & English for College and University Students

Prizes
1. First Prize: Rs. 100000.00
2. Second Prize: Rs. 31000.00
3. Third Prize: Rs. 21000.00
4. Consolation Prize: Rs. 11000.00 (for the best paper written by an undergraduate)

A hard and soft copy of the entries must be sent to S. S. Khanna Girls Degree College Allahabad and "damodarshri1923@gmail.com" respectively accompanied by complete details of the writer – Name, Address, Telephone Numbers, e-mail id, Name of the college/University and course of study (attach photocopy of the identity card).The paper will be examined by a panel of eminent judges and 10 finalists will be called to defend their papers at Allahabad. All expenses of travel and stay will be borne by Saraswat Khattri Pathshala Society as per the guidelines.

The committee will acknowledge the receipt of every paper as soon as it is received.The prize winning papers will be published in the next souvenir of Damodar Shree Organizing Secretary

(a) Eligibility: College & University Students of Central Univ., IIT's, IIM's, Central Institutes & Univ. established more than 100 yrs.
(b) First three papers on first come first served basis forwarded by the respective university would be entertained free, rest all the entries would e entertainedwitha registration fee of Rs. 500/- to be deposited in form of draft drawn in favour of Principal, S S Khanna Girls Degree College.
(c) Length of paper: 3000-5000 words.
(d) Format: Neatly typed, double spacing, on one side.
(e) Mode of Submission: by courier orregistered post to S. S. Khanna GirlsDegree College, 179 D Attarsuiya, Allahabad and on-line at damodarshri1923@gmail.com
(f) Last Date: To receive the papers: 15 August 2011.
(g) Date of announcement of selected papers: 20 September 2011.
